Read the original boundaries
The Jefferies tight chart lists 33–38 inches for 2–4 Years and 39–45 inches for 4–6 Years. It also has ranges that meet or overlap elsewhere. These are the source's printed boundaries. A value between 38 and 39 is not assigned a new row by this website. We preserve the gap instead of quietly extending one endpoint.
Do not interpolate a fit
A chart is not necessarily a continuous engineering function. Averaging sizes or drawing a line between rows would create an unsupported rule. The reference tool includes an unknown/gap state and shows actual rows without calculating an individual's match. If the source does not answer a particular case, that uncertainty remains visible and the next step is clarification from the manufacturer.
Keep overlaps as overlaps
Two rows may share a boundary or cover partly similar dimensions. That does not establish a single best choice. The website does not use a hidden priority rule to pick the smaller or larger size. Garment style, actual labeling and manufacturer advice can matter. An overlap is useful information precisely because it shows that a simplistic one-number lookup may be insufficient.
Separate dimensions from labels
An age-labeled row and its height/weight columns should not be collapsed into a universal age recommendation. The same caution applies to sock rows with typical ages and shoe-number ranges. A child's age alone does not resolve a chart gap. This site also does not infer future growth or add a fixed allowance to move a case into another row.
A source-version example
If a retailer lists a different typical age from the manufacturer's row, record both scopes rather than averaging them into a new age band. The selected Jefferies Medium sock wording illustrates this kind of mismatch. A chart copied into a retailer page can lag or describe another family. Ask which current source applies to the exact selected version.
Keep the missing evidence actionable
A useful manufacturer question identifies the exact style and which range or conflicting field needs clarification. It does not need to include a body photograph through this website. Keep any private measurement information in the appropriate direct interaction, not in a public form. Our tool only displays source rows and collects no personal child data.
What a passed tool test means
Browser tests confirm that rows, unknown states and source links operate as implemented. They do not validate the manufacturer's fit ranges or determine a child's correct size. Independent content and selected-label review are separate pending tasks. A chart gap should remain unresolved even after the software passes every functional test.
Do not close a printed gap
The adjacent tights rows include height 33–38 and 39–45 inches. There is no published continuous interval between those endpoints in this transcription. A rounded number or a guessed stretch allowance cannot repair the source. Likewise, the same boundary can appear in two ranges. The useful result is an unresolved reference question with the actual rows visible, not a false precision size suggestion.
