Define the inventory
Count the complete matching unused pairs or tights garments relevant to the selected product. A mixed drawer can contain different sizes, styles and conditions. Do not add them into a single confirmed total merely because they are all hosiery. The stock tool resets when the product changes and requires the user to confirm the matching count.
Do not forecast growth
This website does not predict how long a child will remain in a size or recommend buying a future size for a fixed number of months. Age labels and manufacturer chart ranges are not a growth model. The chosen stock target is a purchasing assumption. It can be changed without implying a medical or developmental conclusion.
Keep unmatched items separate
One loose sock is not a complete matching pair under the tool's inventory convention. The site does not inspect a drawer or decide whether two different socks are an acceptable match. Keep uncertain or worn items outside the confirmed unused count. This makes the order-gap arithmetic easier to review without pretending to assess actual garment condition.
A zero-gap example
If a chosen target is 20 pairs and matching unused stock is 25 pairs, the tool returns zero new packs and 5 above target. It does not recommend wearing, discarding or storing those items for a particular duration. A zero result is a statement about entered counts only. Actual fit and care remain separate from the numerical inventory target.
Do not infer laundry days
Ten pairs do not automatically equal ten days of supply. Wearing patterns, laundry and the planner's preferences are not measured here. There is no daily-use or cost-per-day calculator. The site deliberately avoids collecting a child's routine or personal details to manufacture a precise-looking stock forecast.
Review the actual purchase
If a positive gap remains, round it up to the selected selling pack and show the resulting overage. Keep the actual price and current size availability attached to that record. Do not change the selected size because a larger pack is cheaper or because a growth assumption seems convenient. An uncertain size needs source clarification, not more arithmetic.
Keep the scope honest
The website has not observed a real household, tracked lost socks or tested garment life. No parent testimonial or replacement-frequency claim is invented. Independent content and actual-label review remain pending. A clear inventory tool can support a buying decision while leaving future fit and use duration explicitly unknown.
Choose a practical stopping point
A private drawer count can answer whether the current chosen target is met. It cannot establish how quickly a child will grow, how often laundry will occur or how many future replacements are needed. If an existing count already exceeds the target, the calculator correctly orders zero new packs and reports the surplus. That boundary is arithmetic, not a judgment about a household’s needs.
